Welcome!

Hello, Phoenix2923, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  JoeSperrazza (talk) 18:31, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:57, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Are not acceptable. Namely [1] and [2]. I am and admin and I am reviewing your actions in particular. I advise you that per our policies on name calling, insults and general poor behaviour (not to mention our policies on accounts that have nothing better to do on Wikipedia than push one aggressive point) you risk finding your editing abilities removed, perhaps indefinitely, regardless of the validity of your point, because you make it so poorly. S.G.(GH) ping! 18:08, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I apologized to the user for losing my temper, it was totally uncalled for. I felt attacked and lashed out in an unnecessary manner. I'm not trying to push any single point, I would just like a constructive dialog with some experienced editors concerning files that were requested in the discussion a long time ago and I paid for out of pocket through the LA county courts. The user in question became sarcastic and accusatory and I said things that I shouldn't have. Again I apologize and I will do my best to adhere to Wikipedia policies. Phoenix2923 (talk) 01:57, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay. No matter how backed into a corner you feel you can always go and make a cup of tea. S.G.(GH) ping! 17:26, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I get it. I just think that other users should also be courteous and respectful instead of poinring fingers and accusing me of sock puppetry, forging documents etc. etc. I just want to have a pleasant experience here. I have been wanting to take a stab with editing on this site for a long time and now that I finally have it almost seems not worth it. I'm not an aggressive person, but most Wiki sites that I have been to have helpful experienced users as opposed to the sarcastic users here. It's like people are saying "Hey! You're an idiot!" without telling what it was that I did. Phoenix2923 (talk) 17:58, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page insults

[edit]

Please stop insulting other editors like you did here. It is not a constructive activity. Try to remain WP:Civil. Monty845 16:33, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you would take the time to go back through the discussion page of that article, you will see that the editor in question repeatedly insults me and many other users. Why am I the only one being called out on this? Phoenix2923 (talk) 16:36, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Even if (and that's a presumption solely for the purpose of dicussion) someone insulted you say 2 months ago, that doesn't justify you popping in to contribute nothing but an insult 2 months later. Maybe that's why. Niteshift36 (talk) 16:41, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, really? You are one of the most sarcastic and insulting instigators of this behavior and here you sit acting all innocent. To use one of your many sarcastic quotes "stop playing the victim" Niteshift. Phoenix2923 (talk) 16:44, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, there has been no activity on that page for over 2 months and I was simply responding to your attitude towards someone claiming to be Frank Dux himself. Phoenix2923 (talk) 16:47, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm not playing any victim. I didn't complain about it. A totally uninvolved editor that I don't remember ever speaking to came here and pointed out that you edits were nothing but personal attacks. I had nothing to do with it. Then you start the "he did it first" justification defense that most people learn as children. Note that I said "say 2 months", indicating a made up number, not an exact date. And if your justification for directly attacking me twice is how I spoke to someone else, you'll find most admins will regard that as particularly weak. Niteshift36 (talk) 16:51, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I stand by my convictions that you are the undisputed world heavyweight douche bag of the internet. Say what you will fuck face, I tire of these conversations with your fake military persona. Mr. High-and-Mighty Mr. Niteshift, you can go fuck yourself. Go ahead and report me because my words hurt your widdle feewings. You wouldn't be such a smart ass to my face. Hide behind your computer monitor and be a smart ass little faggot. If you have the balls, and still serve I Corp, meet me sometime. I'm never too far away. Phoenix2923 (talk) 17:06, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • If I'm still with I Corps? Dude, do you know anything about the military? You tried to say I was in I Corps during Desert Storm (1991), now that I'm still with it. Who spends 20 years in the same unit? Niteshift36 (talk) 17:25, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody too incompetent to be stationed anywhere else. Yes I do know quite a bit about the military and I would absolutely love to demonstrate that knowledge with you first-hand. I wasn't in some pussy CID unit friend. Phoenix2923 (talk) 17:28, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Stop, this is your talk page, but even so, you cannot use it as a forum to insult other editors. Your last statement could even be read as a threat. Just disengage and stop taunting each other. Monty845 17:33, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My last statement wasn't a threat. It was an invitation. Phoenix2923 (talk) 17:35, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Son, nobody in the Army stays in a single unit for 20 years. Just like nobody in the Navy stays on the same ship for 20 years. It has nothng to do with competence. I didn't spend all my time in CID my friend and yes, I'd say every word I've said to you to your face. I have nothing to fear from you. Niteshift36 (talk) 17:40, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Then let's get together and dance, my friend. I'd love to see you say anything to my face. I doubt that I would give you the opportunity. Phoenix2923 (talk) 17:42, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Give me a time and a place Niteshift. You need a wake-up call.Phoenix2923 (talk) 17:51, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't say anything about a fight Niteshift. You just need to be put in check one way or the other. I'm sure there are many users out there that would agree wholeheartedly. You are an unbelievable dickhead.Phoenix2923 (talk) 18:02, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, as you did at User talk:Niteshift36, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Alan the Roving Ambassador (talk) 17:39, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

If you want to block someone, block Niteshift36. I love how I get blocked but nobody ever seems to give HIM a warning. What's the deal here?
